In Germany, approximately 100,000 thyroid surgeries and 50,000 thyroid radioiodine procedures are performed annually. Many of these procedures could be replaced by a non-invasive approach using the Echopulse system, eliminating the need for general anesthesia, hospitalization and scarring.
